Kaya was born in 1764, she was an adventurous girl who loves to ride her horse. In her days Nez Perce people were given new names throughout their life's either by being brave or having a big event. Kaya had two animal companions, one: Her beloved horse Steps High along with her colt Sparks Flying and two: Her adopted puppy Tatlo, she adopted Tatlo to help her on a important journey. Kaya discovers the only way you learn is from making mistakes, respecting others and to listen too others.
